MNGI provides a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient care to patients of all ages, including newborns and infants.
When it comes to gastrointestinal conditions, pediatric patients often require a different level of care. MNGI Digestive Health is committed to providing that comprehensive and specialized care for children. Children suffer from many of the same functional or structural gastrointestinal disorders that affect adults, such as chronic abdominal pain, gastroesophageal reflux disorder, inflammatory bowel disease, chronic constipation and diarrhea and chronic liver disease. Although the diagnoses are similar, treatments for children with these conditions often involve individualized medication dosages, nutritional services and additional support for patients' families.
MNGI provides a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient care to patients of all ages, including newborns and infants. All MNGI physicians who treat children are board-certified in pediatric gastroenterology, making them uniquely qualified to meet the special GI needs of young patients and their families. Our providers also work closely with primary care providers, Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota and other specialists. Children up to age 18 receive care at the MNGI Northeast Minneapolis Clinic. The clinic offers a warm and welcoming environment for children and their families.
