Dr. Wang was born in China but also spent time living in Zambia, Africa before coming to the U.S. for college. He attended The Ohio State University and graduated with honors distinction in 2012. He stayed on to complete a Master of Science degree before attending medical school at University of Toledo College of Medicine in 2013. He graduated medical school in 2017 with election to the national medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Wang completed his internal medicine residency at University of Chicago in 2020. He then proceeded to complete Gastroenterology fellowship there where he also served as a chief fellow. He joined MNGI in 2023.
