Dr. Thackeray is a lifelong Minnesotan, completing her undergraduate studies at St. Olaf College followed by medical school at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She completed internal medicine residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where her fellowship research focused on colonoscopy quality. After Fellowship, she worked in Duluth, MN, for 12 years with a clinical focus on both general gastroenterology and Inflammatory bowel disease before joining MNGI in 2024.
