MNGI Digestive Health is proud to recognize Karin Cierzan, RN, CGRN, CRNI as the recipient of the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA)’s 2023 Gabriele Schindler Clinical Excellence Award.
Cierzan received this award at SGNA’s 50th Annual Course held in Phoenix, AZ to recognize her demonstration of excellence in gastroenterology clinical practice and skill, knowledge and compassion of Gabriele Schindler, an early pioneer of GI patient care.
Her award letter shared that her numerous professional accomplishments exemplify her commitment to gastroenterology/endoscopy nursing and to SGNA and helped her to earn this recognition. It went on further to recognize her mentorship of other members and her experience in gastroenterology/endoscopy and patient advocacy which reaffirm Gabriele Schindler’s vision of a GI nurse.
