*If you are having a procedure and planning a bus route home, you must have a responsible adult accompany you home after the procedure.
Very good experience.
I came to MNGI as an interpreter & based on what I saw on multiple occasions I wanted to come there myself as a patient!
Very kind, compassionate, doctor who listens.
"Time" is the most precious of all our possessions. In a lifetime we only get so much of it, and you don't get a mulligan. When an appointment is scheduled at 1:10pm, the expectation is that the appointment starts at 1:10pm. Waiting a few minutes is understandable and acceptable. But when you've waiting 35 minutes and have yet to see the physician, that's not acceptable. We got up and left. The doctor came down to the parking lot to call us back in. I am from a medical family so I understand that emergencies sometimes happen and cause delays to a doctor's schedule. But if a delay is possible, the appointments should not be scheduled so tightly. If you need leeway in schedule, ALLOW for it in the appointment time structure. If the physician is driving from a hospital to the clinic for appointments and the drive normally takes perhaps 30 minutes, plan for an hour. If the physician hasn't arrived at the clinic within perhaps 10 prior to an appointmen, the staff should immediately inform any patients in both waiting rooms and exam rooms of the possible delay. This isn't rocket science. This is basic, common respect for a person's TIME. If there's a delay because of a "meeting," such as I understood it to be yesterday, then there is no respect whatsoever for the patient's time and you've essentially "stolen" some of it -- that's time that patient will never, ever get back.
still waiting for call to schedule a HIDA scan.
looking for another doctor
Excellent
everything was explained with words I understood, next steps scheduled before we left, felt confident in plan when we left office
The plan Dr. Mittlying set up for me worked.
When I had to get blood work, the tech was so concerned about me, due to how hard it is for me to give blood. She had another tech to help her and she only had to poke 1 time, which to me is a blessing. She was so good and caring for me.
