Was given a hard copy of my instructions regarding my care plan, plus a reminder on my portal
I understand the care plan, I just wish I could have scheduled follow up care prior to leaving the clinic. I was told MNGI would call me.
I did not receive a follow up call to schedule prescribed X-ray imaging, as I was told would happen.I had to initiate the contact myself.
I understand the care plan but diet and monitoring without first establishing exactly what we're dealing with In the liver itself is inept and irresponsible. I will be seeking other GI providers after Mayo Clinic's assessment. Also your patient questionnaire is woefully inadequate to provide the clinician with valuable background information such as my situation with length of medication use and previous problems with liver symptoms and test results. Such a questionnaire Would've improved the situation immensely. Of course, it depends on whether the clinician reads it. The provider did read mine which is an improvement from the first time I used this clinic for my liver.
Overall, one of the most comfortable and friendly clinics I've been to this year.
