The whole experience was fantastic, could not have gone any better.
Excellent staff - very welcoming and reassuring.
The staff were amazing! The phlebotomists were great w/my son. They knew what they were doing. The MA/nurse who brought me into the room was so friendly and caring!
Scheduling procedure has been confusing. Scheduling staff didn't seem to understand two separate procedures were being recommended
Good / very satisfied
The check-in staff person was very clearly hostile towards us based on assumptions that they held about a white, male guardian. They assumed the worst; that I was bigoted, planned to be rude, and disresepctful. Instead, this person was disrespectful to us, made discriminatory assumptions, and upset my child with their strange line of questioning during his check-in.
Couldn't ask for better care -
I feel like the follow up window we had been given previously let things fall through the cracks, and that care coordination/communication between MNGI and Children's seems to be lacking based on the dialogue of our visit
The lab staff were very patient with my child during her blood draw, which is something that is very difficult for her normally.
The lab techs were amazing. My daughter was very afraid and crying and they spoke gently and calmly, offered her distractions, and ultimately got her to cooperate with a blood draw without requiring restraint, which is nothing short of a miracle
