Great experience
It is quite frustrating to be told that a scheduler will call you in a "couple of days" to schedule tests. I was told I could call the office if I did not hear from them. Why could a scheduler not work with the patient while they are in the office? The provider put in the orders before I left the office. I did call the office and then was told that the orders would be sent over to the place of choice to have the tests done "sometime that day". Sending orders with an EHR is quite easy unless you are on a very antiquated EHR. To the providers credit, he had reviewed my previous records before coming to exam room.
Always very satisfied at MNGI!
When I brought stool sample back there was concern by the lab that I had overfilled it. I wish the person who gave me the collection vials had stressed the importance of the measurement of stool to be exact (vial with red liquid)
My only frustration was that I needed labs done, but the lab closes early on Fridays. I don't understand why I wouldn't be able to get this done at my visit. Why wouldn't they be open long enough to meet the needs of patients? Now I need to find time to go all the way back there and with my busy life, this is ver difficult.
The person who first tried to draw blood was unsuccessful, so rather than try again, she sought assistance from someone more experienced. I really appreciated that level of patient care and understanding.
Good.
Good!
It was nice to leave with a tangible paper outline of a plan for addressing my concerns.
Good
